Controlling guest numbers, knowing where they are and monitoring their movements is essential in ensuring a safe environment, and will likely be an important item on your checklist. A fundamental component of any covid-safe plan, regardless of which state you are holding your event, is to understand your guests. Words like “Are the names and contact details of all attendees being captured so they can be contacted post-event if required?” are the cornerstone of all checklists. It’s up to the business owners and/or event managers to ensure their guests have adequate room to socially distance themselves at events.
