Often confused as ‘paper’ wristbands, Tyvek’s performance is anything but paper-like! It is a material made from high-density spun bound polyethylene fibres, resulting in a product that is lightweight, durable and breathable for the User.

Other applications for Tyvek include wrapping houses during construction, PPE, sterile packaging, cargo covers and envelopes just to name a few. It is easy to see why it is known as “a material without limits”!

Pronounced “tie-vek”, a Tyvek Wristband manufactured by AAC is tamper-evident, tear proof and waterproof. In addition, they cannot be transferred from one person to another without being visibly damaged, making them an effective solution for identification and access control at any single-day event.

We are proud to manufacture all of our Tyvek wristbands from high-quality raw materials right here in our state-of-the-art Print Lab located on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia.

We use a higher grade Tyvek and apply stronger adhesives as well as strict quality control processes when manufacturing over 25million wristbands annually. Check out our Print Lab in action here.

There are a few elements that make up the premium security of AAC’s Tyvek wristbands:

• We use thicker Tyvek material (68gsm) enhancing the tear-proof of the band.
• We pair a stronger adhesive with a better tamper evident delaminating die cut, meaning the band will ‘shred’ should the wearer try to remove it.
• Custom digital printing effectively limits the ability for people to counterfeit the wristband.
• The wristbands are sequentially numbered adding an extra safeguard, along with other variable data options available.

Both size wristbands serve the same great security and identification purposes. A 25mm allows for more wristband ‘real estate’ meaning they are perfect for increasing branding and message recall – more bang for your marketing buck!

Available to choose any base CMYK colour, we use premium full-colour digital printing, meaning the options are endless for what we can print onto your wristbands.

Yes! We have two options for creating your custom wristbands.

Check out our Product Design Tool on our website where you can self-create endless designs using any PMS base colour, uploaded images, clip arts, and fonts allowing you to apply some fancy graphics skills! We also have an in-house Graphics team that will proof your artwork before going into production.

Prefer to leave it to an expert? Our in-house Graphics team are also available to prepare artwork based on your design brief and logo. They will work with you to create a design and work on any changes that are requested. Don’t worry though – you will approve your artwork in writing before we go into production of your wristbands.
