AAC’s standard Tyvek wristbands are approximately 19mm (0.75 inches) wide and 254mm (10 inches) long. These dimensions provide ample space for printing logos, text, or QR codes.

Tyvek and Polyband are the two most popular wristbands that we offer at AAC. They are both suitable for short-term events, such as festivals, concerts, parties, etc. However, they have some key differences in terms of material, weight, durability, and price. Here are the main differences between them:
- Material: Tyvek material isn’t technically paper, it’s much stronger and waterproof. But, Tyvek looks and feels like a thick paper and has a notable paper texture and a matte finish to any print. Polyband, in contrast is made from polyethylene is a flexible plastic, with a glossy, smooth texture finish.
- Durability: Polyband is even more durable than the already durable Tyvek. Polyband, just like Tyvek is also completely waterproof and tamper-evident.
- Price: Both are the same price when customised but only Tyvek has an option for plain wristbands, making it marginally cheaper if you’re looking for a plain colour only.
- Print Quality: Both have high, clear print quality. However, polybands laminate looking finish looks slightly sharper than the textured paper finish of Tyvek. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but it’s the finish that is the key difference between these two similar bands.
